About event
Second BUTMAN race!
Biotropika team with Business Club «Sports Entrepreneurs» will organize second backyard on 29 July 2023. Rules of the race are simple: participants run in a circle with a length of 6.7 km. Those who do not have time to finish the distance in 1 hour are DNF.
Every hour is a new start until there is only one most enduring runner. He becomes the winner.
Biotropika Ultra Trail held according to rules of classic backyard.
Russian record of backyard was set at the race BUTMAN on 30 July 2022 by Vasily Korytkin (46 laps).
Now everyone has chance to show best result and get into Russian national team and subsequently to the World championship!

All runners will divided into 2 categories: men and women
There will be 3 winners in each category and only one of them will become the absolute champion of BUTMAN
Main feature is no losers in this race – each participant becomes a finisher and the final is truly unpredictable, because it competition of moral and volitional qualities. The winner may not be fastest, strongest or toughest runner, but the most morally stable. You can run any distance from 6.7 km to infinity!
Biotropika Fest is part of our backyard. It fest for whole family with camping, presenters, animators, children’s races etc.
Main organizer of race is Nikolay Kotenkov (@kotenkovizkedra). He created a socially significant project – Sports Entrepreneurs. Business club considers the popularization of sports, health and active lifestyle.

Biotropica Ultra Trail became first Backyard in the world with two winners at once! This means that there are two main prizes in male and female categories! Next year according to tradition, main prize will be two exclusive “RosKedr” phyto-barrels made of cedar worth more than 150,000 rubles each!
This is a real mini-bath made of natural cedar, which is widely used by professional athletes to recover the body. Phyto-barrels is used for the prevention and treatment of a wide range of diseases, maintaining youth, vigor and good mood. You can put barrel anywhere, because the barrel does not require additional communications, occupies no more than 1 sq.m. and is completely sealed. For the 2nd place, two people will receive a portable body bath and for the third place a foot bath!
