Mass media about us: Portal RussiaRunning — New Russian record at races of the Backyard family
And this record belongs to Vasily Korytkin, who made 46 laps on the Biotropika in the Leningrad region. This means that he ran 46 hours and left behind 308.4 km. Interestingly, the average speed of the runner for almost two days is 5:06 min / km, and he ran the last lap in less than half an hour.
⠀
Vasily competed almost to the very end with Irina Masanova. The athlete completed the race on lap 45 and decided to retire. According to the original rules, Backyard is DNF, but the organizers awarded Irina as the strongest among women. After all, now Irina owns the women’s record at the Backyard in Russia!
⠀
According to the organizer Nikolai Kotenkov, about 400 people gathered in the starting town, including runners and festival guests. Good scope for a Backyard race!
