Last weekend, a large-scale event celebrating the closing of the running season took place on Yelagin Island in Saint Petersburg. Organizers invited Nikolai Kotenkov to speak and share the story of the Biotropika. There is hope that more runners will be inspired to join BUT — raising the chances of breaking the Russian record… and perhaps even the world record in Backyard Ultra!
