About the event

Second elimination race

BIOTROPIKA ULTRA TRAIL (BUT)!

  • The Biotropika team together with the business club "Sport Entrepreneurs" will hold the second BUT elimination race on July 29-30, 2023. The rules of the race are simple: participants run in a circle 6.7 km long. Those who do not have time to overcome the distance in 1 hour are eliminated. Every hour a new start begins - and so on until one of the most enduring participants remains. He becomes the winner.
  • The Biotropika Ultra Trail run follows the backyard rules. The race is included in the Backyard Ultra calendar and will count toward the world standings of the series.
  • The Russian backyard record was set at the BUT race on July 30, 2022, Vasily Korytkin ran 46 laps.
  • Now everyone has every chance to show the best result and get into the Russian team, and subsequently to the World Championship!
  • Participants will be divided into 4 categories: men under 39 and men veterans, as well as women under 39 and women veterans. There will be 3 winners in each category and only one of them will become the absolute champion of BUTMAN.
  • The main feature is that there are no losers in this race - each participant becomes a finisher, and the final is truly unpredictable, because it can be said to be a competition of moral and volitional qualities. The winner may not be the fastest, strongest or hardiest runner, but the most morally stable, persistent. You can run any distance: from 6.7 km to infinity!
  • As part of the race, a full-scale celebration of sports and health Biotropika Fest will be held with camping, hosts, animators, children's relay races, as well as educational lectures on sports, health and entrepreneurship - an exciting event for the whole family!
  • The organizer is a sports entrepreneur Nikolai Kotenkov (in the social networks kotenkovizkedra). He created a socially significant project - the club "Sports Entrepreneurs", and considers his mission to popularize sports. He actively blogs on social networks, where he talks about a healthy and active lifestyle.

Biotropika Ultra Trail is the first Backyard in the world to have two winners! This means that there are two main prizes, in the male and female categories! Next year, according to tradition, the main prize will be two exclusive phytobarrels "RosKedr" made of handmade split cedar worth more than 150,000 rubles each!

This is a real mini-bath made from natural cedar, which is widely used by professional athletes to restore the body. Phyto barrel is used for the prevention and treatment of a wide range of diseases, maintaining youth, vigor and good mood. A mini steam room can be placed absolutely anywhere, because. the barrel does not require the connection of additional communications, it occupies no more than 1 sq.m. and completely sealed. For 2nd place, two people will receive a portable body bath and for third place a foot bath!
